Calibration Process:

Calibration is the process in which the measurement and accuracy of a measuring instrument are verified against a certified reference. Essentially, the value displayed by the measuring instrument (instrumentation) is compared with the result shown by another measuring device, considered as the reference. The reference device is one that operates correctly and with high accuracy, built according to national or international standards.
