Grade LCC is used in cast steel, particularly for applications in low-temperature environments. It is specified for steel under ASTM A352. Grade LCC has a maximum of 25% of carbon, manganese, and silicon elements.
Its chemical and mechanical properties are detailed in the table below.
| CHEMICAL PROPERTICE (%) | MECHANICAL PROPERTISE | ||
| C | 0.25 | YIELD STRENGTH | 275 Mpa |
| Si | 0.6 | TENSIL STRENGTH | 485 Mpa |
| Mn | 1.2 | ||
| P | 0.04 | ||
| S | 0.045 | ||
