LF2

Grade LF2 is part of the ASTM A350 standard, which covers valves, flanges, fittings, and other components subjected to pressure and temperature conditions. This standard pertains to forged steel materials, with Grade LF2 categorized as forged steel.

The buyer is responsible for specifying the grade of items such as valves, fittings, flanges, etc., that need to be procured. This selection depends on the design requirements, operating conditions, mechanical properties, high-temperature specifications, or corrosion resistance characteristics.

All grades under ASTM A350, including LF1, LF2, LF3, LF5, LF6, LF9, and LF787, must undergo appropriate heat treatment to meet the required design and chemical specifications.
