Grades Gr.1 & Gr.2 are part of the ASTM A105 standard, which includes valves, flanges, fittings, and other components that are subject to pressure and temperature conditions. This standard is part of carbon steel materials. Grades Gr.1 & Gr.2 are made from cast steel.
All steel grades under the ASTM A105 standard, such as Gr.1 & Gr.2, must have suitable thermal behavior for design and chemical specifications.
